Mr. Gobind Maji

Chief Secretary

Gobind Nath Maji is a remarkable individual who has dedicated over a decade of his life to the field of education and skill development. Hailing from a humble and disadvantaged background in a backward village, he has risen against all odds to become a beacon of hope for his community. With an unyielding passion for bringing positive change, Gobind Nath Maji has become a driving force in bridging the gap between rural areas and modern education, health, and technology.

Gobind's journey is a testament to his resilience and determination. Growing up in a poverty-stricken environment, he recognized the transformative power of education early on. Armed with this vision, he ventured into the field of education and skill development, driven by the desire to uplift his community and provide opportunities for a brighter future.

In pursuit of his noble mission, Gobind Nath Maji founded the NGO "Jan Samridhi Dumka." This organization has become a catalyst for change in rural areas, focusing on three core pillars: computer skills, health, and education. Through his innovative approach, Gobind has managed to integrate these fundamental aspects of development seamlessly into the lives of the people he serves.

One of the standout initiatives of Jan Samridhi Dumka is its pioneering approach to fundraising for education. Gobind Nath Maji recognized that the traditional methods of raising funds for underprivileged students might not yield optimal results. With his characteristic ingenuity, he devised a unique and simple way to garner support. Leveraging the power of community participation, he initiated a campaign that brings people together through activities they enjoy, such as cultural events, local fairs, and traditional games. These events not only raise funds but also foster a sense of unity and solidarity among the villagers, contributing to the overall development of the community.
